Atmosferic control in the cold room
Controlled atmospheric cold rooms are the most advanced form of storage for vegetable and fruit farmers to minimize the loss of crops while preserving the freshness of their products. By controlling the ratio of oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and ethylene in the control atmosphere cold rooms, ambient atmosphere, the respiration rate of the products is lowered, their maturation and aging are delayed.
No harmful chemicals are given to the product nor to the environment during these operations.
The doors are specially produced for this room and the joints of the cold room panels are insulated with special chemicals to provide a complete seal. On the floor and in the pan, special sealing chemicals are used differently from normal cold rooms. Depending on the customer's wishes, a door, wall or ceiling sight glass can be placed to control the condition of the products.
It enables the products to be placed in the market outside of the season with the freshness of the first day, and the product increases the possibility of finding domestic and foreign markets.
